The Killmacomma in Clonmel, County Tipperary is located in a picturesque wooded area and is being looked after by Pauline and Pat Hegarty from the last three decades. One can spot different varieties of trees, shrubs and herbaceous plants in the garden, some of which are acid loving plants that thrive in its neutral soil. There are also natural stone features, small ponds and a Japanese section in this garden that bagged the Viking Irish Golden Award in 2008. The award was given after Killmacomma was judged as the best garden of the Irish County of Tipperary. So if one happens to be interested in the activity, one can perhaps learn a few tricks of gardening while visiting the place.
